This tutorial file includes both the CAE model and a full English video explaining the Friction Stir Welding process step by step. In the simulation, Eulerian elements are used for the steel and aluminium plates, while the tool is modeled with Lagrangian elements. The analysis shows the temperature distribution across the two plates. As the tool moves and rotates, the temperature changes. The aluminium plate reaches higher temperatures than the steel plate due to differences in their thermal properties. Images of the process are provided below.
