In this tutorial, you will see a step-by-step simulation of a high-velocity bullet impact on a concrete wall using Abaqus. The bullet is modeled as a Lagrangian part. To represent the concrete behavior under impact, the Johnson–Holmquist Concrete (JHC) material model is applied. During the analysis, the bullet penetrates the wall and causes significant damage. The images below show some of the results from this simulation.
